Prop kit 16147Q is for use on Mercury or Mariner 4 hp and 5 hp plus the 8 hp through 9.9 hp 4-stroke outboards. See your owner's manual for installation instructions, the Flo-Torq hub, thrust washers and prop nut part numbers to best fit your engine or drive. Kit includes two prop nuts, aft washers, cotter pins and forward thrust washer
Install thrust washer, propeller, spacer and tab washer (sold separately) before installing prop nut.
Do not operate your engine or drive without all propeller hardware in place.
Prop hardware is stainless steel, durable and corrosion resistant.
To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
