Propeller reverse kit 82559Q01 is for use on 5 hp through 15 hp Mercury and Mariner two-cycle outboards. Blocks engine exhaust from escaping over the blades when in reverse to reduce propeller slippage.
Increases propeller holding in reverse for better control.
Place on the prop shaft behind the propeller and ahead of the propeller nut.
Do not operate your engine or drive without the propeller nut in place and secured by the tab washer.
To aid future propeller removal, grease prop shaft splines with Mercury 2-4-C or Mercury Special Lube 101
